S+B James Construction is a design and build contractor serving the West Coast, Oregon. Nevada and California. They value the communities they serve and are passionate about helping others build their dream with a strong foundation. In Spring 2025 they moved their Sacramento headquarters office from West Sacramento to 630 K Street, located within the entertainment epicenter of the Central Business District, the Downtown Commons (DOCO).
MTA furnished their space and installed quickly so they could move in with a short project timeline. They wanted their office space to be open and collaborative, so they could enjoy the great window views out to K Street and the vibrant downtown area. Their new space included L-Shaped Workstations and Hoteling Stations, while also incorporating furniture from their previous headquarters. MTA utilized Herman Miller Canvas Vista and Canvas Dock to create an open office with views of the lively Downtown Commons.
