MTA was selected to provide furnishings for the Golden One Center, home of the Sacramento Kings. MTA worked directly with Kings Management, Designers from AECOM, and the team from ICON Venue Group to design and furnish 5 clubs, 34 luxury suites and lofts, lounge spaces, bars, outdoor patio, practice facility, Kings coaching staff offices, entertainment suites, and back offices. The design focus was a modern hospitality with state-of-the-art technology. The building achieved LEED Platinum Certification.
The fast-paced schedule of 24 months for the entire construction and hundreds of subcontractors, made for a challenging work site. MTA was proud to be one of the significant contributors to this prestigious milestone project in Sacramento and kept the project on time and on budget. A few of the furniture lines include Herman Miller, Stylex, National, Coalesse, Arper, Keilhauer and Lowenstein.
Since the arena opening, MTA has designed and furnished an outdoor beer garden, Coors Light Area and The Club by Red Hawk. In 2022 & 2024 MTA renovated two of the VIP lounges, and various suite/loft enhancements. More projects are in the planning phases for Summer 2025, which include additional renovations to the concourse, bars and lounges.
