MTA delivered full furniture design and installation services for two floors of the new San Pablo Police Station. The client requested a look and feel consistent with the neighboring City Hall project while adapting the palette to better suit a law‑enforcement environment. The final aesthetic featured a timeless and professional blend of greys, blacks, and blues to reflect the Police Department’s identity.
Chief Executive Assistant Workstation Privacy
During space planning, we discovered the Chief Executive Assistant’s workstation was placed directly next to a glass wall, creating a potential “fishbowl” feel. Our team developed multiple alternatives to increase privacy without compromising transparency or design intent. The final solution provided both comfort and professional presence.

This project faced an extended construction delay of eight months. MTA worked closely with the client and construction team throughout the process, coordinating revised timelines and scheduling deliveries. To support the client during the delay, we held the furniture in our MTA warehouse until the building was ready, ensuring a smooth installation once construction was complete. MTA’s thoughtful design approach, swift problem‑solving, and flexibility throughout construction delays ensured the Police Department received a beautiful, functional workspace that will support their team for years to come
