MillerKnoll Launch Party
The new collective uniting Herman Miller and Knoll to design for the good of mankind makes its Sacramento debut at MTA.
On Thursday, June 2, 2022, MTA welcomed the arrival of MillerKnoll to our Sacramento showroom with an evening of special festivities. The collective is the most comprehensive product portfolio in the industry and represents over 100 years of design research and innovation. Herman Miller and Knoll share complementary approaches to design rooted in solid business principles that fuse industry and craft, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the relationship between people and place.
Highlights included special presentations by the Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity’s Llisa Demetrios and Daniel Ostroff, plus vignettes featuring products by the collective’s brands, live jazz by Arts Complex, and more fun indoors and out.
The evening also commemorated MTA’s longtime relationships with the collective’s flagship brands Herman Miller and Knoll. MTA has been a Herman Miller dealer since 1964, and founder Miles Treaster served on the company’s Advisory Board, a distinction for our status as one of the top 15 dealers in the U.S. During the 1960s and 1970s, our showroom included products by Herman Miller and Knoll and our projects incorporated both brands for residential and commercial clients.
While our product portfolio and emphasis on commercial interiors have evolved since then, MTA’s tradition of offering the highest quality design and installation services and competitive pricing on the best in modern furnishings remains the same.
