TOMRA Sorting Solutions is an international leader of sensor based sorting and processing technology for the fresh and processed food industries. TOMRA selected MTA for their 58,000 sq. ft. North American headquarters as the furniture provider after an extensive bid process. In conjunction with the project team, MTA designed the final workstations layouts and selected the ancillary furniture for the entire facility. MTA prepared furniture budgets throughout the construction process making necessary revisions as the construction budget required. This state-of-the-art facility includes open-plan workstations, conference rooms, training rooms, a large cafe and several collaborative meeting spaces. MTA verified critical dimension of walls, power/data outlets at the job site and coordinated with the general contractor and other subcontractors. MTA tracked and coordinated all product deliveries with the general contractor and owner and attended weekly construction meetings.
