Rock-n-Bowl 2011

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. MTA joined this effort in 2009 through its annual Rock and Bowl event in May. Each lane is sponsored by an MTA manufacturer and proceeds are earned by raffles, auctions, and sponsorships. Participants come dressed as their favorite rock icon and bowl to some of the greatest rock hits. This is a great event in a party-like atmosphere that benefits a great cause. It also provides a rare opportunity for donors to meet the wish child and to be inspired by their strength and courage. 100% of the proceeds go to granting one local child his/her wish. We hope to continue to put smiles on these children’s faces and make our list of granted wishes below longer each year.
