Debby Matheny brings over ten years of Project Management experience from a variety of industries to the Miles Treaster & Associates’ Project Management Team.
As Project Manager for Miles Treaster & Associates, Debby has managed many large jobs, including a 1500 station installation for the County of Sacramento, which involved five separate sites. In managing the overlapping schedules, tight timelines, construction delays and the client’s needs, Debby’s highly effective communication and coordination skills produced an extremely successful project.
One of Debby’s more challenging projects was the City of Sacramento Interim City Hall Relocation. This project was a multi-phased, complex reconfigure and relocation involving 12 individual departments with many interdependencies and time constraints. Most of these departments were required to provide continuous service to the public during the relocation process. A series of construction delays caused multiple revisions to the overall schedule; each revision required re-evaluation of the changing needs and time constraints of each department. All departments and enti- ties involved were kept informed of the relocation schedules and details. All phases of the move were completed efficiently, smoothly, on time, within budget, and without interruption of City services.
Included in Debby’s responsibilities is the development of a project schedule based on the needs of the customer, lead times and construction schedules. Once a project timeline is established, she works closely with the client, the general contractor and all other entities involved to keep track of the progress of the overall project, coordinate orders and delivery schedules with the various manufacturing and distribution centers, and manage installation and relocation crews to ultimately ensure a successful project completion.
Debby is an excellent communicator and highly energetic organizer whose ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, while keeping an even keel and friendly demeanor, makes her a valuable member of the project team.
Debby has successfully completed the Facilities Management Certification Program at CSUS.
