League of California Cities - LEED CI Gold

Project:  League of California Cities- LEED CI Gold

Complete renovation of existing four-story building, 8-month duration.  MTA developed the schedule and move plan for the League of California Cities and their five tenants to relocate to temporary locations prior to allow construction to occur unimpeded.  MTA collaborated with architect and contractor early in the project to design electrical circuitry required for furniture and equipment.  MTA dimensioned out electrical and data locations in the field for all private offices and open plan locations and field verified of all power/data/mechanical locations as well as critical dimensions during key points in construction.  A short-term lease at the temporary facility carried a costly penalty if not vacated on time.  MTA worked closely with contractor to install furniture in phases during construction to allow adequate time frame for LEED required off-gassing period, without delaying move in past the lease expiration date.  MTA also developed the schedule and move plan to relocate the LOCC and their tenants into their new spaces at their newly renovated facility.
