Used Furniture. Not a subject most commercial office furniture dealers would use. Especially on their first post.
Welcome to MTA. Not your typical office furniture dealer.
The fact is that there is excess inventory right now. Sometimes used inventory can meet your needs and save you money. The trick is timing: it comes and goes on a weekly basis.
The key is finding the products located near you to keep transportation costs from adding so much to the final cost that you’re not really saving money.
Many of our clients aren’t aware used office furniture is an option. MTA offers customers two quotes: new and used. A commercial office dealer can help you explore your layout and then find furniture. Or, find furniture first and then see if you can revise your layout to fit the furniture.
The downsides: Used furniture is okay but not perfect. It is used. Most often you have to be willing to buy furniture from a picture. The trend in office furniture is to want lower panels that create more light. Used may be higher panels.
Canvas a smart choice for creating an efficient and inspiring place to work with lots of light!
Another advantage of used furniture is blending old with new. Whether moving or renovating, figure out your priorities. Is it your lobby, conference or lunchroom? Make a new statement by combining new in key areas with used in less visible areas. Then add new paint, carpet and a few pieces of art.
New or used? It may be an alternative worth exploring.
